The City of Brockton will hold a Household Hazardous Waste Collection Day Saturday, Sept. 22nd from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Recycle Depot, 300 Oak Hill Way for Brockton residents only. Proof of residence is required.
Items that will be collected for free include: household cleaners, mercury products, motor oil, gasoline, automotive fluids, televisions, computers, appliances, car batteries, paint products, unlabeled liquids fertilizer and poison. Car tires will be accepted for $2 each. Truck tires will be prized by size.
Items not permitted include: smoke detectors, biomedical waste, and liquids in “drums.”
